The cardboard flat was constructed by Chilean artist Don Lucho using recycled materials found on the street. It features a full-scale kitchen, including pots and pans, as well as a toilet and a place to sleep. The work was created by painting the cardboard white and coloring in details with a black marker. It was then all taped together to form the finished apartment
‘This project tries to create a parody of the social reality of the South American dwelling’, Don Lucho explains. ‘It’s a reflection regarding the way of building and the small and frail spaces that are inhabited.’
