Using his finger to scribe into the layer of dirt built-up from exhaust emissions, artist Ben Long creates elaborate drawings on the rear shutters of white haulage trucks. Wonderful drawings on dirty trucks bring smiles to the faces of pedestrians and remind drivers to wash their cars.
Ben Long draws subjects to which most people can relate, like pets, animal portraits and other humans. The project takes art out of the museums and into the streets where it can be seen by unsuspecting and surprised drivers turned art appreciators.
