Paris-based artist Anastassia Elias creatively transforms toilet paper into amazing piece of art. She creates miniature worlds inside recycled toilet paper rolls. From zoo to soccer games to beauty parlors she has depicted many sweet & simple moments.
Anastassia Elias is a painter, illustrator and college artist. She creates these tiny scenes by into toilet paper roll by attaching paper cutouts to the side walls with glue and tweezers. The placement of her characters and objects creates a 3D scene and light travels through the tubes to create motion and shadow.
“One day I looked at an empty roll and wondered if I can do something with it,” said the artist.
“I use tweezers to manipulate the paper shapes. I select the paper of the same color as the roll. It gives the illusion that the paper figures make part of the roll.”
